NELSON: 'I OPPOSE DREAM ACT'
Nebraska’s Senator Ben Nelson today issued the following statement on the DREAM Act, which is being considered in the Senate.
“I do not support the DREAM Act and I will vote against it. I oppose it because it is a piecemeal approach to illegal immigration and I believe border security must be our first priority. I will vote for cloture on this bill to allow the legislation to move forward for an up or down vote.”
