NELSON STATEMENT ON PRESIDENT'S STEM CELL DECISION
March 9, 2009 – Nebraska’s Senator Ben Nelson issued the following statement today after President Obama signed an executive order easing limits on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research.
“I disagree with President Obama’s decision and believe more support should be given to research on adult, amniotic fluid, umbilical cord and other types of stem cells.”
